Small footprint desktop and mini tower systems with limited clearance:
 On some small footprint desktop and mini tower systems, there may be limited clearance behind the Saturn USIB drive bay to accomodate the Saturn USIB drive cradle and the USIB interface cable. The minimum depth of the drive bay measured from the front of the bay including the USIB interface cable connection is 11.5". To work around the limited clearance a Saturn IDE Drive Cradle combined with a 90° IDE-USIB connector will shift the direction of the USIB connector to a vertical downward angle, resulting in decreasing the clearance requirements from the original 11.5" to a decreased length of 9.5" (for an extra 2" of space). The Saturn IDE to USIB Connector solves the limited clearance problem by shifting the angle of the USIB interface cable to face vertically instead of horizontally into possible obstructions.

INSTRUCTIONS
The Saturn IDE to USIB connector (AAIDEUSIB) is able to direct the angle of the USIB interface cable to avoid space constraints within small desktop systens. this connector will convert your Saturn IDE drive cradle system into USIB connector, enabling hot swap capability with your desktop system. Your IDE hard drives will be able to be added and removed without a system restart or shut down.
1. Attach the Saturn IDE to USIB Connector (AAIDEUSIB) to the IDE connector located at the rear end of the drive cradle. Make sure the USIB connector is facing down, with the IDE pin keys matching.
2. Attach the white end of the 2 pin power connector to the Saturn IDE to USIB Connector (AAIDEUSIB).
3. Attach the black end of the 2 pin power connector to the power sensing connector on the Saturn IDE drive cradle. Make sure the red wire is facing up, and the black wire is facing down.
